Friday Harbor Fourth of July Community Celebration

Event Description


Celebrate the 4th of July
in Friday Harbor!
Festivities begin with the Annual 2011 Parade.
This year's theme is:
"Life Is a Laugh in a Costume!"
Celebrating 22 years of San Juan Community Theatre.
The Parade line-up begins at 9:30 a.m. at
Spring & Price Streets;
and the Parade Begins at 10:30 a.m.
2011 Parade Honored Grand Marshals:
Mr. Ted Soares, Mr. Gordon Steele,
and Mr. Andrew V. McLaglen.
Following the Parade, Awards will be presented
at the Kiwannis Club's Pig War Picnic, 
  at 1:00pm at the Historical Museum grounds.
At 6:00 p.m. the Rotary Club
of San Juan Island presents:
Rock-the-Dock! at the Port of Friday Harbor. 
The 4th of July Holiday celebrations
are topped off with a fantastic 
Fireworks display over Friday Harbor, 
beginning at about 10:00 p.m.
